Caterpillar D7E is a pioneer when it comes to diesel-electric dozers, and it has the ability to move up to 25% more material per gallon of fuel improves the level of productivity up to 10% and also reduces the total operating costs down to 10% when compared with the previous series. It consists of a 235-hp Cat C9 engine which drives the generator which produces electricity in order to power the two AC motors.
